Can never get enough dainty rings.  source

Also, on the excited plus side, I am waiting for these little beauties from the postman. Found them on Clearly Contacts and you can get your first pair free. too good to be true I thought but it is true! They have kick ass deals on all the time and every pair of derek cardigans range is purchase worthy. I currently have two ugly pairs of glasses I attempt to avoid wearing at all times which is slightly scary for the general public. Most signs in the world Matt has to read for me so I've decided it's time to grow some balls and buy a decent pair to brave the world in.

And the ultimate inspiration that doesn't cost a penny...

"Now you're dressed in a new wardrobe. Every item of your new of life is custom-made by the Creator, with his label on it. All the old fashions are now obsolete.  From now on everyone is defined by Christ, everyone is included in Christ.. So chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength and discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It's your basic, all purpose garment. Never be without it."

I WANT TO RIDE MY BICYCLE

Today I entered the Sportsgirl comp to win $500 in clothes. What a treat. You had to enter in a picture of you and your bike- so Matt kindly snapped away this afternoon en route to an iced coffee. Here are my favourites. I can't wait till we move to the city and I can ride everywhere on Poppy!

ONE YEAR

On Sunday was Matt and I's first year anniversary- flippen crazy it went so quickly. Ironically, we were filming a couple's wedding in the Hunter Valley- twas a very long day by the end of it but was nice to still celebrate love even if it was someone else's!

I am a lucky girl. Matt knows my heart is full of him, Jesus and shoes so he bought me some shoes I'd been eying up on a friend. Aren't these a beaut! Also, they were insanely reduced from $200 to $30. These have won my heart and will likely be following me into bed tonight. Despite the fact it is 16 degrees today, my toes will have to brave the cold cos these bad boys are staying on.

I have learned a lot this year. Marriage is sometimes like this big fat kick in the face then look in the mirror. In it's perfect form, it's the most sacrificial and rewarding thing all at once. We've been learning how to work along side each other in business while waking up beside each other. For some couples, I'm sure it would be there worst nightmare but we really like it. I feel super grateful we're able to build something together and sharpen each other's skills. I can't wait for the all next anniversaries! x

HANDHELD WEDDING FILMS

So this has been my latest project for the last few months. I promise I will try not to rag on about it. Matty, his brother and I have our own wedding film company which we've just recently rebranded to Handheld Wedding Films. We make little films for couples on there wedding days! I've just finished making our website and just recently sorted out our new packaging which Im so stoked with. Go check out our films x My favourite to date would have to be Lucy and Petter's- partly due to their kick arse love story I think. He's from Norway and she's Australian. Petter met Lucy when he came to Sydney to study. They fell in love, she moved to Norway-learnt the language- they decided to get hitched and we were lucky enough to catch it all on camera. Check it out hopeless romantics x

PINTEREST

Perhaps the most addictive website - PINTEREST. I think I could spend hours scrolling through countless pages of inspiration. Here's a few pictures from my HOME board. They get me so inspired to try things in our little home. Matt gets pretty over my constant re doing of every corner of the house. But I love setting up house and having our own little haven to come home too!

PORTRAIT OF A CITY

I found these amazing photos in a book the other day 'Paris, Portrait of a City'. All iconic pictures of Paris handpicked by Jean-Claude Gautrand ranging from the 1800's to the 1980's. It got me so excited about Matty and I's trip coming up in May. I've heard so many mixed things about Paris from friends. Some love the city, others hate it. I think there's some places one needs to experience for there self to form there own conclusions. Every place is what you make of it I reckon. And Im excited to explore it regardless! x
