florence welch

im on a blogging frenzy today. i finished work at 1pm today which was a treat and spent the afternoon sorting out optus internet issues with their indian call centre (grrr) and softning the blow stalking florence welch and her style. she has so much going on!! the voice and her style is so rad. she even makes me slightly wish for red hair, which is saying something. i feel like we could be friends if i was welsh and famous. alas, i will admire from a friendless afar.

OWL HUNTING

i’ve never seen an owl in real life. i was at the sydney museum the other day and apparently we have owls in australia- lots. but ive never seen one. i really want too now after seeing them all horribly stuffed behind the glass. out of all the bird world, i think they top it in greatness. i will have to go owl hunting sometime this year i think.

MUM & DAD

mum and dad were here this weekend celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. i usually only get to see them a couple of times a year so it was wicked to show them our life here..plus it was a good excuse to surprise them with a harbour cruise. .
we had the best weather in syds. august has started out at 22 degrees so here’s hoping it sets the trend for the rest of the ‘winter’. x
