So Matt and I finally got around to seeing the film 'HUGO' today. After watching the Oscars on Monday - I was busting at the seams to go check it out...  and it turns out it was worth every ounce of excitement!

 It's rare to find a film that keeps you captivated from start to finish... the cinematography, the story, the sound track, the set, the casting - all of it is utter perfection! It made me want to find a magical Paris train station terribly bad. If you want to marvel at how good a film can be - go let HUGO whisk you away...

CUSTOMISED BOOTS

so I attacked my boots the other day. If Matt won't let me fuel my boot obsession with new boots, I'll just have to customise my old ones! Chopped the tops off! Which suits me fine cos I'm on an ankle buzz at the moment and these look coooool with cropped pants. x

WALKING ON A DREAM

My sister, Rachel headed back to New Zealand on Thursday... It was the best to have her around and hosting a tourist helped me remember all the best parts about Sydney- as much as I loathe the traffic and busyness, it has some of the most picturesque spots in the world. The night before she left, we had a picnic under the harbour bridge and had some drinks at Luna Park while Matt practised his photography skills on us... I think the old boys getting a lot better! BE MY VALENTINE

Hello babes. I hope everyone had a lovely valentines day! Not just the day for lovers, but for anyone you love I reckon...Love is always worth celebrating. Matty and I hit up the drive ins. My sister is still here from NZ so she came along too. Was slightly squashed in the back with all 3 of us spooning it up and very funny but none the less, a fun night. Long live Love! x

BOOTS

so I have been off frolicking with my sister who is here visiting from New Zealand. We have been off on mini adventures which has been so lovely. anyway I digress.. I just wanted to show off my new boots. aren't they a treat! black, leather, ankle = swoon fest. I've only had them for 2 days and already found myself staring at 3 webpages of more boots tonight!

 I think I actually have a problem.

FOOD INC

So this week my sister got here from NZ! Here for her two week Sydney holiday- very exciting. The first day she was here was rain fest so we headed to the video store and we picked up this DVD- 'Food Inc'. After watching it, I truly believe everyone needs to see this!! It is the most interesting documentary- it was up for an Academy Award and put together by the dude that did Fast Food Nation. It basically lifts the veil on the food industry-- mostly America and how a number of food corparations now control all the nations food supply.. It's pretty shocking and graphic in parts but so revealing in the sense our food isn't produced how we think it is anymore. Watch it! I've been ranting on about it to anyone who'll listen! x
